The Sky Is Pink, A New Film by Josh Fox

This past week, California’s grass roots attempt to have food products of Genetically Modified origin labeled as such was defeated at the ballot box. The question of why a consumer should have a choice in knowing what they are consuming (or purchasing for their families) is a rhetorical one. The complicated spin by multinational corporations who are authoring (and making billions) these products, has to be studied to be appreciated. If nothing else comes from this ballot box loss, the discussion of food labeling has entered the public zeitgeist and will continue to develop.
