Why is it that when I want to post a comment on a news story or express an opinion, every on-line entity wants to access all of my contacts? Seems more than a bit invasive.

We have become so immediate-gratification oriented, that nobody wants to take the time to actually find out what they sign off on. You should see the look on the faces of Cell Phone carriers, if you stop to read the entire terms/conditions of service for a contract. Their jaws drop and they ask what you’re doing; mention they’ve never seen anyone do that before. But I read and chuckle; sneer, and curse at the absurdity of what people commonly sign off on. And so, doing the same for on-line services or to post comments are just a click-click-click away. “That’s so 24-seconds ago…”
